Arthur Joseph Kingdom, Jr., Colonel, United States Army (retired), 1 1949 graduate of the United States Military Academy,  died on Sunday, March 14, 2004, at Alexandria Hospital, Alexandria, Virginia.

He was the husband of Barbara Lee Kingdom; father of Arthur J. Kingdom, III and Douglas M. Kingdom; brother of Robert P. Kingdom; grandfather of Arthur J. Kingdom, IV and Cyrus Patrick Kingdom.

 Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at 12:45 p.m. at Fort Myer Old Post Chapel. Interment Arlington National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Association of Graduates, Class of 1949 Fund, 698 Mills Rd., West Point, New York 10996.
