Harold Cameron Patterson was born on 12 March 1897. He served in the United States Navy in World War I. He died on 29 November 1960 and was buried with full military honors in Alrington National Cemetery. His wife, Dorothy Roland Patterson (19 October 1897-9 December 1980) is buried with him.
