Herman
Hoffman Birney was a Medical Doctor who served as a Medical Officer in
the United States Army. He died on 25 April 1926 and was buried in
Arlington National Cemetery. His son, Herman Hoffman Birney, 1 April
1891-2 June 1958) also served in the United States Army but was best-known
as an author (David Kent) and is buried with his Father in Alington National
Cemetery.
