received his Medal of Honor on December 1, 1864 for services rendered while
serving as Private, Company F, 8th Ohio Volunter Infantry, at the Battle
of Gettysburg on July 3, 1863.
He was born in Maine in 1843 and died on June
3, 1894. He is buried in Section 27 of Arlington National Cemetery.
