wife of Albert William Preston, the daughter
of General Edward Ortho Cresap Ord, and the mother
of Ord Preston, she was born at Monterey, California, February 17, 1851.
She died at Englewood, New Jersey on October
17, 1915 and was buried among other family members in Section 3 of Arlington
National Cemetery.
