CRAFT, NATHAN L., Private, Company K, 52nd Regiment, N.C. Troops. Resided in Forsyth County and was by occupation a carpenter prior to enlisting in Wayne County at age 26, January 18, 1863, for the war. Captured at Bristoe Station, Virginia, October 14, 1863. Confined at Old Capitol Prison, Washington, D.C. Died in hospital at Washington on January 11, 1864, of "diarrhoea chronica." ."
