Whang, director of the Orphans' Home of Korea, Cheju Island. Brigadier
General Dwight E. Beach, Eighth Army (Fwd.) chief of staff, watches the
presentation. The check is the semi-annual interest on a $41,000 trust
fund set up for the perpetual support of the orphanage.
