LAWTON, Oklahoma- Lieutenants Henry S. Naylor and Edwin E. Pritchett, of the Fifth Field Artillery were killed and two other Army officers, Lieutenants J. E. McMahon and Richard G. Scott, were injured in an automobile accident at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, early today.

The party was returning to quarters at the post after attending a party when the car which Naylor was driving suddenly swerved from the roadway and crashed into a tree.  The accident, it is believed, was due to the explosion of a tire.

Scott’s face was badly lacerated and it is feared the sight in one of his eyes has been destroyed.  McMahon was severely bruised, but is not believed to be seriously injured.

Scott was attached to the Fourth and McMahon to the Second Field Artillery.
