DAVID H.BOYD, ESQUIRE
David Hugh Boyd died on Sunday, January 26, 2003 at Fair Oaks Hospital, Fairfax, Virginia, of complications from surgery.
David is survived by his four children, Alexandra of Post Falls, Idaho, Lance of San Francisco, California, Charles of Glen Allen, Virginia, and Samantha of Fairfax; and two brothers, John of Chestertown, Maryland and Frank of Lexington, Kentucky.
Born on Jan. 27, 1931, Mr. Boyd was the son of David and Helen. He spend his early years in Parksley and graduated from Parksley High School. After a six year stay in the United States Navy he went to Randolph Macon College and graduated with a Degree in history. He then went on to the University of Virginia Law School and graduated with a degree in law.
A small service was held for the family and he will join his mother, father and youngest brother George Morgan in Arlington National Cemetery.
Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army. So it was no wonder that sooner or later his interests drew him to American history and especially to American military history. Many of his articles can be found on renowned portals like the New York Times, Washingtonpost or Wikipedia.
