NOTE: Colonel Pitcher was the son of Thomas Gamble Pitcher, Brigadier General, United States Army.  The Colonel and his wife, Anna BowieHarris Pitcher )died 29 December 1945) are buried adjacent to the General in a gravesite in Section 3.  In that same gravesite are buried his brother, John Pitcher, Lieutenant Colonel, United States Army, and John’s wife, Matilda C. Pitcher, 1864-1924.
